Gravestones

2011 marks the 175th anniversary of arrival of British colonists in South Australia. These included Freemasons, some of whom were members of the South Australian Lodge of Friendship which was founded for intending colonists in London on 22 October 1834.

The "Bound for South Australia" website may be found at http://boundforsouthaustralia.net.au/

Gravestones of some who arrived in the nine ships of 1836 may be found at http://news.webshots.com/album/560508890ZYpDCM
